Welcome! I'm Sayandeep.

My research uses applied microeconomic theory and controlled experiments (online and in the lab) to study social preferences, moral trade-offs, and beliefs. I focus on decision-making in settings where economic incentives alone do not fully explain observed behavior. To study this, I use transparent experimental environments that isolate specific behavioral mechanisms and allow clear interpretation of choices, both in and out of the lab.
